| This first in the Thimble Drome series was constructed to
original specifications. The body is die-cast aluminum, top
and bottom, and held together with screws, the axles are
steel and brass. The exhaust pipe, the brake lever, pressure
pump and wheel hubs are nickel plated die-cast metal. The
engine is an exact (non-functioning) replica with attached
gearbox housing holding the rear axle. Original style
packaging and inserts are included. Numbered car comes with

The Thimble Drome Champion 15 of the 1950's was offered in
several color combinations, but the Chrome Champion was
truly a special car. Plating both the top and bottom chrome
made the Champion 15 a flashy attraction at the race track. This Special edition has all of the same features of the other Thimble Drome racers except the body is chrome plated with special decals commemorating the Millennium.
